In Beginning Glass Fusing, you learned that when glass is heated, it tries always to reach 6mm (or two standard layers of glass) thick. But what if you want to create something thicker than 2 layers? This class will teach you how. You will create a thick bowl or plate that is approximately 4 layers of standard thickness glass using different techniques within the same piece. On the second day of class, you will learn to cold-work the  edge of your bowl to give it a finished, professional look.
All materials are provided, however, if you have just completed the Combing and Intro to Pattern Bars class or if you have some pieces or elements you've made previously that you would like to incorporate into your thicker dish, please bring them.
