In this class, you will use a propane-oxygen torch to create lots and lots of glass elements that you can use in your fused glass pieces. Using Bullseye Glass Rods, you will learn to make your own stringer - straight, shaped, curly, and encased. You will learn drop dots, multi-colored twisties, clear-cored twisties, and teardrops. Leaf shapes, petal shapes, and links will also be taught, along with creating your own kiln-formed rods to use in the torch for a unique look to your torch-formed shapes. You will create several sample tiles using the various torch elements along with a final composition that brings together multiple elements. This is a 6-hour instruction and 12-hour torch-time class. It is held in four separate instruction sessions with four separate individually scheduled torch-time sessions between the instruction sessions.
