Open Studio Time

Open Studio Time is for those who have participated in our Glass Fusing Basics I class or have equivalent glass experience.

The studio has large work tables and all the equipment, tools, and supplies needed to create wonderful glass art.  There is always one or more "studio hosts" to help you remember what you learned in class, help you get started on your project and answer your questions.

The studio also offers firing services, project consultation, customer storage area, and power equipment time rentals.

NEW Guided Open Studio Projects

Every Thursday (11 am-8 pm), Fusions Glass Studio offers Guided Open Studio Projects

Guided Open Studio Projects are for anyone who has taken a class at Fusions and wants to create during open studio time in a more structured manner.

Different Guided Open Studio Projects every month.

January's Guided Open Studio Project Offer is 4 - 4x4" coasters for $35.  All of the glass and firing fees are included in the price.  (F and # glass codes excluded.)

How it works - on Guided Open Studio Project days (Thursdays) - the base pieces of glass will be pre-cut.  You will have a large selection of different types and colors of glass available to create the design layer.  We do the firing.  You do the finishing.

How is this different from "regular" open studio?  During "regular" open studio time, you buy your glass and your firing services.  You make more decisions about glass usage and how to use your shelf space.   Guided open studio projects are a nice way to become familiar with working in the "regular" open studio setting or a way to just come in and play with glass without a lot of decision making.

We still have "regular" open studio hours on Thursdays, too.
